Thanks for your interest in my story. The most important thing about me is Jesus and how He changed my life.
I was born in East Point, Georgia. When I was two years old, we moved to Orlando, Florida where I grew up. I enjoyed Disney World, Sea World and going to the beach with my family. During my childhood, my father was an alcoholic and my best friend was killed in a shooting accident. When I graduated from High School, I had a lot of good things going on. I was working full-time, going to college, had a great car and a beautiful girlfriend. Even with all the good things in my life, I was missing something. I knew there had to be more to life than working 40 hours a week and hanging out with friends on the weekend. I started searching for the missing piece.
One of the places I searched was First Baptist Church, Orlando. I had attended this church on holidays and special occasions. I remember sitting up in the top of the balcony intently listening to the Pastor talk about how a person can have a relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ. He said that everyone has a problem and that problem is sin. I found out that Jesus Christ lived a perfect life and died on the cross for my sins and then rose from the dead. During this time, I was reading my Bible and going to church regularly. Over the course of three weeks, I struggled with starting the relationship with God through Jesus. The big moment for me was when I realized that I did not have to do a lot of things or be someone that I wasn’t. I could trust Jesus and what He did for me on the cross. When I was 20 years old, that is what I did. I was in my room with my Bible and asked Jesus to come into my life to forgive me for my sins. I stopped trying to be someone I couldn’t, and I started trusting Christ.
Since trusting Christ, I now have purpose for my life. I found the missing piece. Over the years there have been good times and hard times. God has blessed me with a beautiful, Godly wife and five amazing children. When my oldest daughter was very young, she was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia. The doctors could not figure out what was wrong. The antibiotics began to work and she recovered quickly. We got our little girl back. Then many years later, I lost my father to cancer. This was one of the hardest times of my life. I learned that Jesus does not take away to hard times. He gives you strength to go through the hard times. Jesus has been faithful to me through it all, and I am confident that He will remain faithful to me through whatever comes my way. I am grateful to God to have a relationship with Jesus. Over the years I have had the opportunity to lead many people to faith in Jesus Christ. Let me know if you are interested in starting a relationship with Jesus. SeanVickersSr@gmail.com
My ministry verse is Psalm 19:14
“May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.”

In addition to many opportunities to serve God, He has given me the opportunity to further my education. These opportunities have prepared me for the ministry to which God has called me.
2 Timothy 2:15 says, “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”
I completed my Masters of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary located in Fort Worth, Texas in 1996. Our time is Texas was a great time of equipping and ministry.
When I was a Sophomore I gave my life to Jesus Christ. At the time I was pursuing a business degree. As God clearly showed me His plan for my life I completed my Bachelors of Science in Business Administration at the University of Central Florida, in 1992, before moving to Texas. Over the years God has allowed me to use my business expertise for His Kingdom.
